Alfons Håkans Ltd provides specialist towage and related services to the offshore industry and the oil and gas sector on a worldwide basis.

The company owns the anchor handling tug "Zeus" of 7,400 bhp, and 101 tons bollard pull, which was built in 1995 in accordance with Det Norske Veritas regulations DNV + 1A1, Tug, EO, Ice Class 1 A Super+ and FiFi 1. The "Zeus" is based in Den Helder, Netherlands for most of the year in order to serve the southern North Sea gas basin and is deployed in the Baltic during the winter.

The tug enjoys an exemplary reputation and high utilisation from the extremely demanding sector of the industry operating in the North Sea, and is regularly involved with rig moves, heavy lift transportation and barge towing, as well as general assistance and support services to rigs, cranebarges and pipelayers.
